Lead differently: For more implementation strength in enterprises
We don’t have an innovation problem or a knowledge problem; we have an implementation problem. Businesses keep launching improvement initiatives, be it lean production, shorter development times, integration of supply chain partners, etc. There is training, initial success, more training — and soon, many people know what leads to success and what doesn’t. But if you check back three months later, you notice that little to nothing of what was learned has made it into practice. There it is — the insidious implementation gap. And that’s exactly the problem that many businesses have. They don’t lack good ideas; they lack good implementation.
